My Top Three Tanning Tips

My Top Three Tanning Tips – Otherwise known as ‘My Love Letter to Lusso Tan

Dare I say it, but Spring is finally on the horizon! It’s finally February, there’s beginning to be a ‘quare stretch in the evenings’ and it’s milder! I even spotted some wee snowdrops budding last week, and my daffodils are starting to grow too (well the ones that the dog hasn’t seen yet!)
All of this can add up to only one thing – tanning season is on the horizon! I don’t know about you, but there’s very little that gives me as big a lift as having a golden glow. Since it’s going to be a while before this body will be hitting a beach, then it’s time to fake it!
Time then for me to share with you all my top tanning tips to achieve that perfect sunkissed skin.

Keep reading for a fantastic Lusso Tan offer to help get your tanning season off to a great start!

1. Prep Properly

A portrait can only be as good as it’s canvas, so it’s crucial that you properly prepare your skin for tanning. Effective hair removal – I highly recommend sugaring, but that’s a post for another day – combined with exfoliation and moisturising on a regular basis will all ensure that your skin is in top condition for tanning. The importance of this can not be overlooked, if skin is not well prepped then your tan will just not live up to it’s full potential.
An extra step which I love to use is a tanning primer – such as the Lusso Tan Primer. This wonder product will rebalance pH, plump skin and improve the texture. Quick and easy to use, it’s definitely worth a try if you haven’t used it already.

2. ‘Simply the Best’

There are so so many tanning products out there – where to start? I’ve used a multitude of tanning brands over the years, and I can honestly, hand on my heart, say that Lusso Tan is the best I’ve ever used. My main reasons for saying this are that it doesn’t have that classic ‘tan’ smell, it dries extremely quickly and doesn’t end up all over your bedsheets, and also – and most importantly – the colour is just unbelievable!
No matter which type of tan you have a preference for Lusso has you covered, with mousse, lotion and now the new tanning moisturisers – they all deliver exactly what you want, flawless tan every time which is easy to apply, looks great and lasts well!

3. Ace your Aftercare
On the topic of making your tan last for as long as possible, obviously Lusso have you covered here as well. A recent product launch is their Tan Extending Moisturisers which come in a range of beautiful scents. By moisturising your tan daily, this will help it to last for between a week and 10 days, and keep your skin in tip-top condition.
When the time finally comes to say goodbye to your tan (just in time to start the cycle over again!) here is where Lusso have smashed it yet again! With their world first product, the tan removing Bath Bomb, Lusso really delivered a complete game changer. The Bath Bombs and their follow-up, the tan removing Shower Bar, are packed full of vitamins and essential oils, to leave your skin tan free, smooth and hydrated, ready for another week of beautiful tan all over again!

I really hope this has been of benefit to those of you who are keen to get your tanning game on over the next few weeks and months. I love these products and recommend them so much that I’ve decided to run a wee special offer for the next couple of weeks (while my stocks last!)

For every bottle of Lusso Tan you buy (includes mousse, lotion and balm), you’ll receive a FREE bath bomb or shower bar, just add the tan to your basket at www.dreambeautybyaoc.co.uk and leave me a note at checkout as to whether you prefer a bath bomb or shower bar. And don’t forget that shipping is always free on orders over £35! Hope you’ve enjoyed my top three tanning tips as much as you’ll love your Lusso Tan! If you would like any more information on these products, or recommendations for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Lots of love, Ash xx
